Please be advised that Bentley is making the first of many hardware upgrades to their Identity Management System (IMS) as part of ongoing efforts to improve its reliability and user experience. The first phase of this upgrade is a hardware upgrade in production scheduled for April 25, 2026, at 8AM EDT.
During the transition to new hardware on April 25, existing user sessions within IMS-enabled applications will be lost, and users will be required to sign in again. Users on the latest version of Bentley’s CONNECTION Client should not experience any issues. Additionally, processes that rely on refresh tokens are not expected to be impacted.
This hardware upgrade is part of a broader initiative to enhance Bentley IMS applications, with additional hardware and software improvements planned throughout the year. Rest assured, our teams are committed to managing this transition carefully and will inform you along the way with the goal of minimizing any disruption for users.
If you experience any issues following the April 25 deployment, please submit a support ticket through your usual channels. Your patience and understanding are appreciated as we continue to improve our services.
